Strawberry Fields for a Year or So
It’s been an exhausting three years.
No matter how much we seek to disassociate ourselves from the ills of our gun-toting, morbidly obese old hook-up, the USA’s talent for taking up air and space in this world is unrivalled.
It doesn’t commit human rights violations quietly like everyone else, it does it with a whole Ferris Buellarian parade starring the real Wayne Newton.
And we still have at least one year of watching this flabby kick-line to go.
The most we can do to maintain our sanity is crank our music up louder and bury ourselves in memories of the best of the British (from a time before their royalty was embroiled in a paedophile ring).
Enter: Strawberry Fields.
