The dark horse of the art scene…didn’t show up.

So here’s this guy.

Decrying the blunt brutalisation of street art, he seeks to revive the notion of urban art as something not of a singular ham-fisted approach.

His work is based on the notion that for too long frivolity and frivolousness have confounded the perception of 80c spray paint cans and erections protruding from Mickey Mouse’s eye sockets.

Nay, this artist has taken to the gallery to hurl well-deserved ladles of pretension at the sketches of the streets and re-cast street art as intricately biting and politically deconstructive works of fine art.

He’ll also be smashing a giant crate of bananas to demonstrate the indelicacy of banana skins.
