Leave This Space Blank at Juniperlooza
That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet.
Which is to say, vaguely sour.
But the point is, no matter the name, the effect of the rose on body chemistry is imperative. No matter how much one claims ‘mind over matter’, the fact is that the mind is matter’s hot gimp.
So it’s important to remember that though there may be 23 differently named roses in front of you, you’ll always favour the one that annihilates all your anxieties and torments and, with a single touch, can make you see the face of god in a puddle of your own piss.
Pluck your flower at Juniperlooza.
Yes, this weekend, Juniperlooza 2020 will showcase 23 Australian and international gin producers, who’ll be serving up classic and twisted G&Ts plus their Juniperlooza signature cocktail.
Party with your crew as Juniperlooza takes over The Boatbuilders Yard and the Polly Woodside sailing ship in South Wharf. Two Australian DJs known for getting the party started, Agent 86 (Saturday) and J’nett (Sunday) will be featured plus an electric line-up of other house favourites.
Be sure to make the most of Talk & Taste sessions with producers to brush up on your gin knowledge.
What’s in a name?
After The Boatbuilder’s Yard is programmed into Google Maps, absolutely nothing.
(Though you might also want to record the name ‘Cirrhosis’ for future reference.)
