Experiencing Problems With Performance? Try The Sydney Guitar Festival.
Fancy a good, hot lick?
Well, who doesn’t?
It’s wintertime and power bills are exorbitant.
Ditch the heater.
For Sydney’s premier guitar event, the festival that celebrates the rich history of the instrument, is returning to spark your internal pilot light.
Leading the lineup is Australia’s world acclaimed acoustic guitar icon Tommy Emmanuel CGP and if you think you know how deep is your love, he’ll find ways to finger depths with his cocaine-dusted fingertips you never knew you had.
The festival will also welcome American guitarist and composer Kaki King, Australian classical guitar maestros the Grigoryan Brothers, Grammy Award-winning guitarist Albert Lee (UK), joined by 9 piece outfit The Spin Drifters, Peter Northcote, Kevin Bennett (Chasin’ The Train), Kirk Lorange, Mal Eastick and many more.
For the first time this year, the festival will also include The Sydney Guitar Festival Gala which will feature an incredible curated line-up of artists from the 2018 festival.
This festival is one of the few chances to see some of Australia and the world’s truly talented guitarists doing what they do best.
We’re in an era dominated by impotent indie pop and the predominance of DJs shooting their incomprehensible loads through Soundcloud.
It’s time you threw caution to the winds and experimented with musicians that don’t use protection.
Whatever you contract, it can’t possibly be worse than whatever Skrillex has.
