5) Alivan Blu: The Fall
28th March
What: Alivan Blu is Australian Indie-folk duo Jed Billington and Anna Stanton from the Far North Coast of NSW, Australia. They first began their journey together as a couple, travelling and surfing up and down the East Coast of Australia along with many other countries around the world. They began writing songs in remote areas of Indonesia, India and the United Kingdom. Returning back to Australia and drawing from their experiences of travel and growing up with the ocean at their front door, they combine two acoustic guitars, blended with their complementary voices and warm harmonies to elicit a desire for warm summer nights by the ocean or an adventure into the wilderness.
Why: When we first saw their name we thought it read ‘avian flu’. We’re not going to lie, we are disappointed.

4) Flag Duty: Live

What: Following the release of their new single Twenty, Flag Duty take to the Black Bear Lodge stage for their first headline show of what is set to be a massive 2021. Drawing on an eclectic mix of modern and nostalgic rock influences, the band explores a colourful pop- and alt-rock sound, blending the musical hooks of indie rock with catchy pop melodies.

3) A Night with Liquid Lollipop

What: Come and join Liquid Lollipop and their friends Friday Marmalade and Tessa Fleur for a night of tunes and grooves. Liquid Lollipop are a Brisbane-based 4 piece band. Together since March 2019, the band are self-described as the “happiest emo band out”, and want to share sugary, bubblegum-grunge vibes through their music.
Why: If only the sensorial unpleasantness of the description was the worst thing about this.

What: Rabbits Eat Lettuce is a place of Freedom, Love & Dance Music. Camp in a beautiful natural environment and form a community of like-minded souls who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life. Rabbits Eat Lettuce lets us be human again. We can dissolve the social barriers and dance together. Rabbits Eat Lettuce began in 2008 as a Tribal Easter party on the mid-north-coast of NSW and has become an underground tradition in the area. The event takes place over 4 days and has a number of stages showcasing a variety of dance music. Everything from deep and serious to fresh and funky. At night the ‘chill zone’ will transform into a psychedelic slumber party with movies, chill music, acoustic artists, beanbags & chai tea. There will be a wide variety of delicious & nutritious food and beverages sold in the vibrant market village.
