What: Formed in the rubble of a number of scene mainstays, Safety Net uses late-era punk “other” to tap into the space between acoustic and electronic music. With plenty of art project interludes on deck for the livestream, this will not be another jerk-off band practice masquerading as a show.
Why: Turns out there’s more than one Donny Tourette and mass sterilisation clearly has its merits.

2) Tape Deck Mountain: Live

What: Tape Deck Mountain is an American shoegaze/indie rock band founded in 2008 by San Diego native, Travis Trevisan. Pitchfork Media dubbed them ‘dark surf’ and Wild Honey Pie said they were ‘brooding, shoegaze Nirvana’. Their song ‘Ghost Colony’ was featured in Season 2 of Sons of Anarchy. Experience them live.

4) Syrup & Great Sage

What: The Harbour Agency is proud to present Syrup + Great Sage Live from the Brightside! Syrup is the funk laden musical project of childhood friends Harry Pratt and Henry Anderson. In a stage of redefinition, the duo have moved further down the path of nostalgia with references to old-school disco utilising the luxuries of modern production. In the live music world Syrup transforms into a 3 piece, where they add live drums at the hands of Lachlan Bambach. Great Sage was formed late in 2018, and is lead by the creative intelligence of Troy Doolan (of First Beige). Together with Padraig Wilson and monozygotic twins Jake and Aaron Smeal, Doolan writes, performs and carefully curates the audio and visual experience that is/of Great Sage. 2) Terror Parade with Sentiment and Tetrament
9th January
What: It’s time we start the new year off right and the only right way to do that is with some heavy metal! This night will open with the lead laden riff machine known only as Tetrament who have been cutting their teeth throughout 2020 despite all that sh*tshow of a year could throw at them. Following them will be Sydney’s Noveaux, an unwashed quartet of central coast slime and soundscapes. They’ll be bringing their aggressive industrial sound to Brisbane for the first time in their career. The night’s aural festivities will climax with a performance equally dark and talented Terror Parade. This female fronted, horror themed outfit managed to drop a well-received EP “Hollywood Dead” as well as drop a killer film clip that was nominated twice for awards at the Hellbound Horror Festival. When they hit the stage it isn’t just another band, it’s a horror filled night out. Come see these amazing acts with your own eyes!
Why: There’s no better way to toast the near end of a viral pandemic than by bathing in the spit flecks of some sweaty guy with a blonde mohawk.

What: Your favourite rock n roll party Mister Sister are releasing their second single ‘Crazy’ At The Black Bear Lodge! Joining them are the beautiful brits Brixton Alley, Brisbane Sunshine’s Lost Goat Found and new boys on the block Daisy and the White Jacket. This is going to be one heck of a party!
