Dr Vandana Shiva, the protector of Biological and Cultural Diversity, Dr Anne Poelina. a Nyikina Traditional Custodian from Australia and Diane Longboat, a traditional teacher from Six Nations Grand River Territory, Canada. These wisdom keepers straddle worlds, combining deep knowledge of place and kin, of big picture systems and ecology with new learnings and bring with them a huge range of knowledge and expertise. The interview will follow with the screening of Three Sisters – Women of High Degree – seven years in the making with conversations between three Yimardoowarra Marninil, Nyikina women from the Fitzroy River, Lucy Marshall, Jeannie Wabi, and Anne Poelina, and French-Australian filmmaker Magali McDuffie.
