What: A live force of nature renowned for bringing rock ‘n’ roll showmanship to high-energy bluegrass, this group has sold out hallowed venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the legendary Ryman Auditorium in addition to igniting stages everywhere from Bonnaroo and New Orleans Jazz Festival to Austin City Limits and Outside Lands. What: A product of the eighth series of The X Factor, winners Little Mix (formed in 2011) are a British all-female pop, R&B and hip hop group, hailing from South Shields and London, UK who have exploded in popularity in the recent years. They will be performing in a livestreamed concert.

Why: They did the video that everyone condemned for being essentially soft porn. We can’t think of a better endorsement. Though…like with pretty much all soft porn you’ll probably have to turn the sound way down. Those braying and shrieking noises are a bloody mood killer.

7) Live From Inside feat. Peach Pit

What: Self-described “fun, flirty, a little dirty, and incredibly depressive”, so-called sad-boi indie pop band Peach Pit will be performing in a livestreamed mini-concert.

Why: Stone fruit pits and indie bands. Two things that will never be satisfactorily bred out of existence.

What: Oscar Jerome will be releasing his debut solo album, Breathe Deep, which includes a broad range of influences: Latin-American-influenced soul, dub pioneer Lee Scratch Perry, US jazz bopper Grant Green, and the pastoral imagery of John Keats.

Why: The poetry of the earth is never dead. Nor, apparently, is the demand for dub music.

What: With her smoky vocals and pared-down introspection, the Atlanta-based singer-songwriter has been dubbed R&B’s next big thing. Experience her in an intimate livestreamed concert.

Why: It’s refreshing to hear about a ‘next big thing’ that probably will not eventually result in an hours long congressional hearing about consumer protection.

What: For over 20 years, Slaid Cleaves, out of Austin, TX, has spun stories with a novelist’s eye and a poet’s heart. Experience his unique country folk twang in a livestreamed concert.

What: Jessica Childress is an LA-based singer/songwriter. She is reminiscent of the golden age of classic soul, with an enormous voice that combines traditional R&B with a rock n’ roll energy.

Why: We haven’t as of yet discovered an age group that doesn’t claim to want to return to the 70s. Well, good news, folks. Human rights are quickly regressing and here’s a bloody soul singer.

What: Formed in 1979 in Los Angeles, California, Bad Religion is an American punk rock/progressive rock band. They are most known for their lyrics that often relate to social and political commentary. They will be engaging in a live, interactive discussion concerning their latest book release. From their beginnings as teenagers experimenting in a San Fernando Valley garage dubbed “The Hell Hole” to headlining major music festivals around the world, ‘Do What You Want’ tells the whole story of Bad Religion’s 40-year career in irreverent style.

Why: Everyone has a bloody book these days. In terms of quality, on the spectrum of White House escapee to someone with actual talent, these guys range around the middle.

What: Erasure (created in 1985) is a synthpop duo from London, England. Made up of singer and songwriter Andy Bell and Keyboardist Vince Clarke. They will be releasing their 18th studio album in a unique livestreamed performance.

Why: They will not be appearing bald. We’re disappointed too.
