Top 10 Australia Revelry On this week 19/04/2020 (COVID-19 EDITION)

There are ways to alter your consciousness that don’t involve chasing your roommates around with an axe.

10) Shut In and Sing: Smithsonian Folkways Takeover with Kaia Kater and Los Texmaniacs

25th April

What: Banjo-playing Americana artist Kaia Kater and conjunto Tejano band Los Texmaniacs will be live-streaming a 2 hour intimate concert in aid of musicians struggling from the repercussions of the virus.

Why: A band to add to your referential gamut whose style involves slightly elaborate pronunciation? You don’t need to learn another language or better yourself beyond a facile level. Just site the genre ‘conjunto Tejano’ and people will buy you’ve used your isolation for intellectual betterment. Or they’ll avoid ever striking up a conversation with you again. Either way it’s a win.
