10) ‘Choose Love’ Screening

What: ‘Choose Love’ explores many different facets of forgiveness, addressing new scientific findings, and raising some important questions. The documentary describes a journey of transformation through growth in knowledge and awareness. The seeds of a new form of humanity are present in empathy, love, and the true character of forgiveness. True stories that describe a process of openness, forgiveness, and love that breaks down prejudice and divisions. We need to change ourselves to change the world because it is only by feeling strong and grounded that one can find the power for forgiveness.
Why: Located at the Elizabeth Picture Theatre, just past the bevy of depressed, homeless people suffering under a complex institutionalised and politicised system. They won’t harass you on your way to the cinema if you just walk fast and look straight ahead.

7) Fight Fire With Fire

3) Walk Off The Earth 2020 Tour

2) Fatboy Slim Live Tour

More than your average DJ set, Fatboy Slim’s sets take things to a whole new level. Iconic singles like ‘Praise You’ and ‘Weapon Of Choice’ make an obvious appearance, but it is the attention to detail in his carefully designed visuals that elevate an already stellar performance to an almost religious experience, meticulously programmed to sync up with whatever is played in the moment and transcend the gap between live music and visual accompaniments.
Why: The granddaddy of flash mobs and big beat did not suddenly disappear in the 80s. Proof that time travel does not yet exist on a future timeline.
1) Holy Green Festival

What: Holy Green is a diverse Australian music festival, held each year over the Australia Day long-weekend and inviting thousands of music fans to gather. Here they are treated to performances from local & international artists from the worlds of alternative, indie pop & rock with 2020 featuring Bastille, The Jungle Giants, Meg Mac, Winston Surfshirt, Running Touch, Owl Eyes, Adrian Eagle and a TBA mystery act.
Why: It’s an apt title for a music festival. If there is any green left on this burnt piece of toast we call a country, it’ll be a f***ing miracle.
