Remember When Everyone Hated Nazis at Movies and Magnums

It’s getting more and more difficult to shut oneself off from the realities of consequence. Even though, in terms of culpability, a hefty section of us can claim innocence, the fact remains that we are all suffering from the actions of a generation that treated the earth like an all-you-can-eat buffet served in a sex dungeon.

A spread and spread.

But now it’s 2020, only the bones are left and we can’t find patient zero with the raging case of super-gonorrhoea.

Though we have to face the horrific clean up, whilst the generation largely to blame are waddling their geriatric arses around their city mansions trying to tell us we’re overusing the Jif, sometimes it’s nothing less than an absolute necessity to, for one night, enter a hyper-stylised world of perfect soundtracks, satisfying character arcs and dialogue that does not include the words woke, feminazi, mindful, yas, cuck, snowflake, trigger warning, realness, libtard, shade, stan, turnt or Tyler, The Creator.

Enter: Movies and Magnums: Inglourious Basterds.

Movies and Magnums is a series of dinners held in Restaurant Hubert’s Theatre Royale. The first film in the 2020 series will be Quentin Tarantino’s iconic wartime film, Inglourious Basterds.

The night will feature a screening of the film, a decadent feast and free flowing wine.

So put down the disinfectant and pick up a glass.

For three and a half hours, experience the joy of absolute bloody carnage that you don’t have to mop up.
