It’s taxing, to say the least, to be functionally conscious in the year 2020.

Putting aside the emotional and moral aspect of being a sentient, intelligent being, the constant barrage of loud noises everywhere every moment of the day and night is as physically exhausting as it has somehow become physically necessary.

It’s not that that which does not kill us makes us stronger, rather, in a scenario more akin to the film Seven, that which does not immediately kill us keeps us alive in an increasingly horrific, painful state of eternal living decay.

We are not the Übermensch.

We’re the arseholes that exist so that he can theoretically exist.

Self-improvement is a fool’s errand. So we might as well settle into our abrasively loud, depressing fates with aplomb and a hit of MDMA at Let Go Fest.
