The Best of Both Worlds at Festival X

Collaboration.

It’s a word the usage of which changes dramatically once one leaves an environment dictated by standardised tests and enters a world dictated by standard maniacs.

Once one becomes a legal adult, the word collaboration tends to be associated with the festering building blocks of a corrupt prison system rather than the festering building blocks of a sticky preschool Lego kit.

But nevertheless, the essential fragility that remains within the heart of every adult human dictates that we occasionally seek out that which afforded us positive memories from a time wherein we were considered incapable of reason and therefore generally unbound by morality.

Enter: Festival X. The result of that yearning.

Formed as a collaboration between industry leaders and teams behind some of Australia’s leading festivals, concerts and events, Hardware (Piknic Electronik, Babylon), Onelove (Stereosonic) and Live Nation (Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and Download) have partnered to launch Festival X. Whether you’re into dance, hip-hop or pop – get ready – as this is THE music festival to kickstart your summer and to celebrate with your friends.

This year’s lineup features: Calvin Harris, Armin Van Buuren, Lil Pump, Alison Wonderland, Anna Lunoe, Badrapper, Blueface, Camelphat, Cosmic Gate, Futurecode, Generik, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Godlands, Kaz James, Kolsch, MK, Marlo, Murda Beatz, Nic Fanciulli, Paul Kalkbrenner, Ruben De Rode, Sophiegrophy, Steve Aoki, Sunset Bros, Tchami, Thandi Phoenix, Trippie Redd and Vini Vici.

It’s a collaboration as loud, colourful and idiotic as the kind that delighted your child mind.

It’s a collaboration as full of intoxicants, profanity and horny idiots as the kind that delights your adult mind.

Cheers, sweetpea.
