10) Wombat East Coast Tour

What: Wombat is a well-known name in the Australian Hip Hop & Grime scene. At just 22 years of age, Wombat has accrued 6 million YouTube views, over 1 million Spotify streams and has acquired a massive amount of fans across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. His quick tongue rings bells with the likes of Ghetts, Devlin & Token while technical flow is comparable with Slaughterhouse; Wombat delivers his very own style of fierce and explosive grime hits.
Why: We’re not that well affiliated with Grime, but if Wombat’s canon is anything to go by, we strongly encourage you to support those afflicted with ADHD and their integration into mainstream society.

9) Graace 21st Century Love Tour
16th November
What: Australian songstress GRAACE has released her brand new single ‘21st Century Love’, out now via Sony Music Australia. To celebrate the new release, GRAACE has announced her biggest headline tour yet. GRAACE’S big break came co-writing and featuring on ‘Numb’, the 2017 track from Australian artist and producer Hayden James which quickly became platinum in their homeland. A left-of-centre pop smash, it showcased GRAACE’s silky vocals. It was quickly followed by the singer’s debut single ‘Kissing Boys’, an equally catchy bop that fleshes out a piano base with fluttering synth. Come see her new creation live.
Why: Come see the voice behind natural gas, Nutella, life insurance…pretty much any ad that has an extended shot of a grassy field with people running and laughing in slow motion.

8) Down Here: TROTH

What: Troth is a recently-formed Newcastle (NSW) duo comprising Amelia Besseny and Cooper Bowman. Together they fashion ethereal environs from vocals, electronics, zither, tape loops and sampled percussion & piano. Troth will be joined on both nights by local & interstate underground experimental/free-noise projects.
Why: The guardians of posterity once wept from fear that age-old traditions would be lost, consumed by an unsentimental future. Well, here’s a 20-something-year-old on a zither. Happy now, you sadists?

7) Art As Catharsis feat. Hubris (Switzerland), Hazards of Swimming Naked, Napoleonic Wars, Maara, Monsterra & June Cartel

What: Art as Catharsis presents a record label night of post-rock, indie folk, jazz and alt-pop bands, featuring Hubris, Napoleanic Wars, Maara, Monsterra and June Cartel.
Why: There’s no greater experience of emotional catharsis than the kind ignited by finally being allowed to admit your pop-cultural obsolescence in the face of the incomprehensible. Consider this night the flaming matchstick.
6) XXXX Presents: Live At The Brewery
16th November
What: The iconic XXXX Brewery is set to open its gates to the public for the first time in 26 years for a huge celebration of beer, live music and bites – unveiling the inaugural XXXX Presents: Live at the Brewery. Live At The Brewery will feature food stalls, limited edition merchandise, along with five local and interstate artists performing at the base of the famous XXXX silos. The party continues with post event celebrations in the XXXX Brewery Alehouse.
Why: Visit something you haven’t seen in 26 years without having to explain why you’ve never produced grandchildren for anyone.
5) SCHEMA Festival
16th & 17th November
What: Brought to you by SCHEMA Collective and building on the success of last year’s Festival, this year’s edition will see the multi-genre musical event take place over two days in three venues across Fortitude Valley. With a focus on diversity the best of Brisbane’s bands, artists, and performers will be featured along with a few special guests from further afield!
Why: When they don’t specify the headliners, you just know it’s going to be good.

4) U2: The Joshua Tree Tour
12th November
What: Following the highly successful 2017 tour in celebration of the band’s seminal album, The Joshua Tree Tour 2019 will see the band make a much anticipated return to Australia for the first time since the record-shattering U2 360° Tour in 2010.
Why: Nobody wanted them for free, so they’ve decided to try charging for it. It’s a pretty standard marketing tactic. Nobody gives a s*** about a shoe that looks like it came from the back of Richard Simmons’s closet until Nike starts charging $200 for it.
3) Gomez: Liquid Skin Tour
13th November
What: Following up last year’s sold-out 20th anniversary tour, the Southport quartet return to the stage in celebration of the upcoming re-issue of their second studio album, Liquid Skin; and to play Bring It On, no doubt a treat for fans! Don’t miss out – a set like this you won’t see again!
Why: Until their first, second, third, fourth and fifth comeback tour.
2) Smokie 2019 Tour

What: The internationally successful British rock ‘n’ roll band Smokie will be touring Australia for the first time ever this November! With chart-topping hits like ‘Living Next Door to Alice’, ‘Lay Back in the Arms of Someone’ and ‘If You Think You Know How to Love Me’ and constant tours of the UK and Europe, Smokie is one of the most popular bands in the world today.
Why: Smokie’s back and the lyric, “Now I’ve gotta get used to not living next door to Alice” has a whole new meaning. Alice died in a rest home four years ago.

1) Steve Martin and Martin Short: Now You See Them, Soon You Won’t Tour
