Royal Melbourne Show…They’re Hip!

Feeling nostalgic? Of course you are.

We all are, though many of us don’t remember beyond the early 90s. But nostalgia is all we have.

We have to pretend that the past was better than the present because it’s the only way we can psychologically deal with the present.

The hope is that at some point humans were capable of better.

Well, do we have a treat for you.

The Royal Melbourne Show!

Conducted annually by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), the Royal Melbourne Show celebrates and showcases excellence in agriculture, attracting close to 500,000 people over 11 spectacular days.

Open daily, the show offers a huge variety of unique memorable agricultural experiences that are entertaining, interactive, educational and fun for young and old alike.

Melbourne show favourites are the showbags, rides, animal nursery, art and craft displays, dog shows, livestock displays and the Woodchop Pavilion.

Historically comforting ‘agriculture’, 80s showbag consumerism, perennially relevant ferris wheels (and other rides), and delicious fairy floss.

Not enough?

Of course there’s a Jurassic Park live experience.

There’s no need to focus on a dark future in which you have no hope because Cosentino from Australia’s Got Talent will be performing live.

…Australia’s Got Talent.

Look it up, goddammit.
