APIA Good Times Tour: Rock and Roll Will Never Die (Though It May Occasionally Doze Off)

The winter solstice sees the 2019 return of the APIA Good Times Tour – a unique combination of musical icons collectively attempting to stave off irrelevance for at least 2 hours.

It seems, at first, insensitive to hold a Good Times tour in a season known for causing stiffness in the joints.

But then, this might be one of the few stiff moments these old rockers can still experience in which pharmaceutical intervention is not the precursor.

Taking to the stage this year are the following kings and queens of generic pop rock (the kind that won’t burn your tongue): Vika and Linda Bull, Brian Cadd, Joe Camilleri, Kate Ceberano, Russell Morris, Ross Wilson and John Paul Young.

The line-up has a huge array of hits to draw from including Ginger Man, A Little Ray of Sunshine, Harley & Rose, Chained to the Wheel, Bedroom Eyes, Pash, Never Let Me Go, The Real Thing, Wings of an Eagle, Eagle Rock, Come Said the Boy, I Hate the Music and Love Is In The Air, to name a few.

Each Allstar will perform their hits and favourite songs culminating in an extraordinary finale with all seven sharing the stage.

Patrons under 50 are advised there will be no strobe lighting.

Any drugs found on the premises will be immediately returned to their owner to avoid any potential liability.
