27th April

What: The return of Australia’s largest Afrobeats Festival! Featuring the talents of SQUAT, KIMANI, FASMWA, OVO, K2THAC, NAIKI, KRISTELLE and MARCAIDA. See you on the dancefloor!

Why: We’ve not heard of this particular genre of music before. But if it’s a product of this era and involves the word ‘afro’, you can be sure there’ll be a lot of white hipsters present.

9) Wax On Pop Up

27th April

What: An inner west house space with vinyl and live sets till the sunrise. Please arrive and leave quietly, for this is a secret location. Some of the finest talent will be gracing the 1’s and 2’s. BYO.

6) Fur Coat Long Weekend Day Party Edition

2) Byron Bay Bluesfest

21st & 22nd April

What: Australia’s premier music festival.
