Paul Kelly: Other People’s Words
With 23 albums to his name and not a single accusation of spousal battery (as of yet), Paul Kelly is undoubtedly a legend you’ll not feel conflicted about
…until maybe this night.
As part of the Melbourne Writers’ Festival, Paul Kelly has written music to other peoples words, for once.
Featuring the poetry of Emily Dickinson, Les Murray, Judith Wright, WB Yeats and more, he’s taken the opportunity to experiment with that for which he is not renowned.
This should go well.
