9) Lea Delaria Live in Concert

Singer, gay-icon, comedian and occasional actress “Big Boo” Lea DeLaria is coming to Vivid for one night only with a live show that combines stand-up comedy and sultry vocals; a performance as velvety as it is razor-sharp. 8) Harpoon Harry Music and Lights Extravaganza

From 25th May onwards

Throughout Vivid, Harpoon Harry will be sticking you through every available orifice with an unrivalled program of live music and visual effects all crammed in a rambling Cuban mansion. This’ll be one House Party in which you won’t get stuck in a corner conversing through a wine cooler haze about the benefits of an all kale cleanse…unless you’re…into that kind of thing.

7) Mad Mix

7th June

Fierce feminism; fiercer hangover.  Following the premiere of a hell of a cinematic grind-up, continue queering the mix with genre-defying audio artist Anomie and video artist Carla Zimbler (Asterism) who will create, in the guts of the Hub, a party at least 70% as batshit insane as the film that precedes it.

6) Freak Me Out

6th-17th June

Freak Me Out is back as the quiet neighbour (who always seemed so normal) of the Sydney Film Festival. Horror anthologies lead the way this year. Better bring a towel. No part of you will be dry after this. It’s time to get freaky in the grindhouse.

5) Heaps Gay Qweens Ball
